Crew are a form of Equipment that impact the stats of Belles.
Types of Crew[edit | edit source]
There are seven varieties, each with different types of traits. What is listed below is their usual impact, though some may be different.
- Engineering: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and Sortie Cost.
- Gunnery: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and Fire Control.
- Supply: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and Repair Time.
- Mascot: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and Hull Points.
- Artificer: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and adds/raises Field Repair value.
- Special Duty: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and Design Weight.
- Specialist: Improves Reserves, Critical Hit Protection, and Experience.
Obtaining Crew[edit | edit source]
Crew may randomly drop from Stories/Rescue Battles, be awarded for weekly rankings, or be a guaranteed reward for taking "Belle's Choice" options (requiring Prestige) in Stories.
Crew Slots[edit | edit source]
Every Belle may equip Engineering and Mascot Crew in her stock configuration. Refit Capacity determines the availability of other crew slots--these unlock as the value rises through Promotion with Vestures. Larger Belles may have one or more of the other slots unlocked stock (e.g. a Battlecruiser with Engineering, Gunnery, Supply, and Mascot available at level 1).
Value of Crew[edit | edit source]
Crew can have significant effects on Belle combat statistics, however, these are only really felt by players at higher levels and/or in Hard Mode. In other words, the presence or absence of Crew is generally not a make-or-break proposition within standard gameplay. However, for the "min-maxing" player, Crew can become incredibly important.
