Starting Equipment[edit | edit source]

Despite having battleship-size rifles, Recruit's main battery (without any research) is around the level of typical light cruiser's according to the game's "Performance" statistic. The turrets are also unarmored.

Character Information[edit | edit source]

History[edit | edit source]

Unlike other Belles who are associated with actual warships, Recruit's namesake is a wooden replica of a dreadnought battleship that existed in New York City's Union Square as a recruiting tool from 1917-1920. The Recruit also held several social events such as dance parties. After a few years she was dismantled from her original site at Union Square and was intended to be placed at Coney Island but the plans never materialized and it was never reassembled.

Personality and Traits[edit | edit source]

As a result of the above, Recruit is determined to prove herself as per her story's text: "Recruit is a true battleship, and she's out to prove it!" She also acts like a New Yorker and references the city a lot as a nod to the real life Recruit's location. She also seems to be very confident and often taunts the Morganas in battle.

Her personality is listed as "Charming, Charismatic, Jealous"

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Wood can be seen on the single barbette (viewer's right), referencing Recruit's status as a wooden ship.
  • Recruit is one of a handful of Belles rendered in Live2D.
