Built in a late 18th-century style as a school ship and survives to this day in that role, traveling the world and participating in tall ship races. The American carrier Independence named her "the most beautiful ship in the world" in 1962.

Amerigo Vespucci is an Italian Belle available during an October 1939 game event. She may either be obtained from the Commissary via Prestige or by collecting her Vestures on the event map Chasing the Horizon, an HQ15 area of West African Approaches & Cape Verde. As a training ship, Amerigo Vespucci's main purpose in the game is to boost experience earned by other Belles while out on cruises.
