What are Vestures?[edit | edit source]
- Those are items representing a Belle. They cannot be equipped.
- All 7 slots must be filled to promote.
- Home Front Support doesn't drop from campaigns, instead they are purchased using Diplomacy in the Commissary store.
- Any vestures may be used for promotion, but using a Belle's own vesture doubles the bonus gained.
- There is a limit on how many times any stat may be raised through promotion.
Rescuing[edit | edit source]
- Each Belle has X amount of Vestures to rescue.
- X can be paid in any combination of Vestures
- A player needs 10% fewer Vestures for Belles from their starting nation. Belle pages contain the standard amount and the (home nation) amount.
Changing BotD/HQ Belle[edit | edit source]
- Select Belle from the Fleet screen.
- Scroll to the bottom icon and click
- Click on the star icon near the stats windows.
Where to farm X Belle?[edit | edit source]
- See “Backyards” below for HQ level 1 drop locations.
- Every Belle on the wiki has a section of her page labeled "Where Vestures Drop" which will tell the player on what maps she can be found. Note that this does not say anything about which Vestures drop on a given map in case the player seeks specific Vestures.
- Search this form (beware of possible spoilers however).
- Information can be found on this spreadsheet though it may be out-of-date.
Unlocking Second Repair-Refit/Research/Production Slot[edit | edit source]
- This occurs at HQ level 15.
- Further unlocks occur at HQ levels 30 and 50.
- All other locked slots must be purchased with Prestige.
Research[edit | edit source]
- Select equipment for research in the Inventory.
- Pop it in to research. The equipment will be destroyed.
- Researching it will detect any hidden Advantages (white), Quirks (yellow) or Gremlins (red) as research iterations are completed.
- Research slowly removes Gremlins. At 100%, all Gremlins are gone.
More About Stars[edit | edit source]
- White Advantage and yellow Quirk stars have positive traits.
- Some of them also have negative traits, creating trade-offs.
- Red Gremlin stars are always negative, and with sufficient effort in R&D can be removed.
- These properties are viewable in the production tab when the blueprint in question is selected, by scrolling right in the small panel that shows locked/unlocked traits.
- Note that while the count is visible at the beginning, the meaning of each may not be until a certain amount of research is completed. For example, a gun might have two Advantages, but being able to see what actual stat changes they cause might not be possible until (made-up number) 70% research completion.
- Each trait has a difficulty rating; for Gremlins, this represents the amount of R&D effort you need to remove it. When the difficulty of a Gremlin is reduced to zero, it is removed.
- For Quirks and Advantages, difficulty represents the equivalent difficulty total of all the Gremlins that will be introduced by transplanting them from your pool of unlocked Advantages/Quirks onto gear that previously did not possess these traits.
Production[edit | edit source]
- Select researched equipment. A blueprint does not have to be fully researched to be used.
- Select any desired Advantages/Quirks. More quirks are available after researching equipment in R&D.
- Hit build.
Bases[edit | edit source]
- Bases can repair and rearm Belles during campaigns.
- Bases must be unlocked first before being able to use them through expenditure of Diplomacy and other resources.
- Unlocking and upgrading are done in Campaign, when selecting an area to explore and selecting the icon in the top right of the screen.
- Unlocking and upgrading cost resources and Diplomacy. Upgrades mean faster repairs.
Setting Flagship - Why can't I put someone other than Recruit as the Flagship?[edit | edit source]
- The flagship is the one with the golden plate on the fleet screen.
- The heaviest class in the fleet is automatically Flagship.
- This is the order: CV > BB > BC > CA > CL/CVL/AMS > DD
- Since Recruit is a TBB, she is a class equivalent of BB and takes priority over other Belles you may rescue early game.
- If there are multiple ships of equivalent class, the flagship can be changed by pressing the silver HP icon on the Fleet screen.
- Flagships impact formation and tactics. Select the Diamond on the left to see formation
Formation and Strategies[edit | edit source]
- Each Flagship has a different formation and strategy for its current fleet.
- If a certain level is a struggle, try using a different flagship with different tactics. For example, flagships that rapidly close the range are useful in low-visibility situations.
“Backyards”[edit | edit source]
These Campaigns will drop vestures for Belles from a specific nation primarily. Note that while it's very rare, it's entirely possible to receive vestures for very high level (battleships, aircraft carriers) Belles in these lower-level maps.
- France: Caribbean Sea & Gulf of Mexico, They Shall Not Pass
- Germany: North Atlantic, Skaagerak Purge
- Italy: Equatorial East Africa, The Imperial Frontier
- Japan: Sea of Japan, The Bridge From Kyushu, Yellow Sea, Along the Curve of the Bow
- Poland: Baltic Sea
- Soviet Union: Black Sea, Byzantine Maneuvers
- United Kingdom: Argentinian Approaches, Far From Home
- United States: American Far Pacific, Johnston Island Patrol
The War[edit | edit source]
- The War is a daily missions board as well as a Leaderboard for individual and Nation progress.
- Victory Points are awarded after completing a daily quest. They also affect the player's nation's standing on the leaderboard.
- Daily Completion will also reward the player with resources, prestige, diplomacy and equipment.
- War Contributions are gained by completing campaigns on the Campaign map. How many are gained will depend on the HQ level of the Campaign.
Real Money Questions[edit | edit source]
- All costs are calculated without any applicable taxes that vary by jurisdiction.
- All costs are calculated in US dollars. However, simply adjust any prices by comparing the Prestige package size to one's local currency if not paying US dollars to find the cost.
Prestige Purchasing Efficiency[edit | edit source]
- Black Chicken Studios does use a "pay more, get more" model for Prestige.
Prestige | Cost | Prestige/$ |
---|---|---|
7,000 | $99.99 | 70 |
3,200 | $49.99 | 64 |
1,200 | $19.99 | 60 |
550 | $9.99 | 55 |
260 | $4.99 | 52 |
100 | $1.99 | 50 |
Collect All Belles[edit | edit source]
- As of the game's launch in February 2023, there are approximately 141 Belles in game. To have dock space for all these Belles on top of the 50 a player starts with costs 4,990 Prestige (10 buys) and leaves one with 9 empty berths. The smallest amount of Prestige a player can purchase (rather than going for the largest package) is 3,200 + 1,200 + 550 + 260 (leaving the player 220), costing $84.96. (This also has the side effect of increasing the player's inventory by 750 slots.)
Unlock All Drydock Slots[edit | edit source]
- Slots not marked as auto-unlocking at an HQ level must be purchased with Prestige. If you purchase a slot before reaching an unlock, the "unlocks at HQ level X" will move to the next slot of the same type. If you buy all slots before they unlock by progression, there is no compensation for doing so.
- Two repair slots must be purchased with Prestige, the rest unlock through progression.
- The player receives one orange R&D slot and two standard R&D slot through progression. The same applies to the production side.
- Thus, three blue slots and one orange slot of each type must be purchased with Prestige.
- The total cost for repair, R&D, and production slots in the Drydock if the player takes advantage of all free unlocks is:
- Two repair: 499 + 499
- Three standard R&D: 499 + 499 + 499
- Three standard production: 499 + 499 + 499
- One enhanced R&D: 599
- One enhanced production: 599
- 5,190 Prestige, most efficiently purchased as 3,200 + 1,200 + 550 + 260, costing $84.96 and leaving 20 afterward.
Monthly Membership[edit | edit source]
- This refers exclusively to the LON Commissioner Membership which offers a 25% increase in beneficial stats gained (e.g. relationship points, experience) and 25% decrease in time taken (e.g. R&D, repair).
- The package is 1,000 Prestige for 30 days.
- Due to the "buy more, get more per dollar" model above, the most "efficient" way to maintain the membership is buying the largest package.
- This works out to $14.28 per month if Prestige is used solely on the membership. Whether such is worth it remains up to the player--this page is purely to provide information.
- If the player instead opts for the $19.99 package of 1,200 Prestige every thirty days, by the fifth month one will have banked enough extra Prestige if not used on anything else to obtain another month. The cost per month with this method is $16.66.
GACHA![edit | edit source]
- The Gacha is located in the Store -> Bundles.
- There are multiple pools to choose from, and each pool contains a Belle.
- Each pool is composed of one (1) Belle and up to 100 items such as equipment, vestures resources and diplomacy.
- Each roll costs 50 prestige and will slowly deplete the loot pool, meaning the roll chance will very slowly increase until either the pool is depleted or the Belle drops for the player.
- Therefore, the most it will cost for any Belle in the Gacha is 5,000 Prestige. The fewest Prestige packages needed for this are 3,200 + 1,200 + 550 + 100, which costs $81.96 if the Belle drops on the absolute last roll.
- However, each Belle is also obtainable in the game via rescuing.
- The value of rolling vs. rescuing is up to the player. For example, Manchester is a light cruiser that can be rescued at around HQ 15 so it would be worth it not to roll for her and wait until you can run the Campaign to get her. Conversely, a battleship like Schleswig-Holstein is a Belle who would not be seen until much later, so rolling for her early at a lower HQ level to circumvent the long grind to obtain her vestures could be worth it.
