This tutorial will describe how to fill out the Create a Cargo Map form.

For those used to the old Fandom Map pages, this may seem a departure. It is, but the new pages will contain far more data which is more easily searchable and thus, useful.

  1. Navigate to the form.
  2. The entry should remain prefixed with Cargo: to place it in the Cargo namespace (which is generally protected from editing/vandalism). So "Cargo:They Shall Not Pass." This does not translate to the form itself--it is purely a MediaWiki/Cargo function.

  1. Pick the Map Type from the dropdown. Event Maps are limited-time campaigns not related to a specific Belle. Belle Event Maps are limited-time campaigns that drop the Vestures of a specific event Belle. Standard Campaign Maps are everything else.
  2. Event and Belle Event Maps activate a special form section. Time in Victory Belles began when World War 2 started (September 1, 1939). The game released on February 22, 2023. This makes for some "fun" conversions in order to link in-game time with real time. Do not fill in Event Belles for purely Event Maps!
thumb
  1. The Map Name should populate from what was typed on the initial creation page. If not, fill it in again without any "Cargo:" prefix.
  2. Fill in the HQ Level.
  3. Fill in the Map Description.
  4. Add Belles of Interest if known.
thumb
  1. It is possible to save progress and come back later as the Map form is quite lengthy.
  2. Optionally fill in Diplomacy drops for the map if known. Some drops can vary in value hence the two boxes available. Other drops are a fixed value, so fill in the same amount for both.
thumb
  1. If Cruise resource values are known, fill them in. The "per hour" values are used to calculate the most efficient Cruising for very dedicated players. The math involved is relatively simple and an example is given on the page.
thumb
  1. Add Weather and daylight information. Sunrise/Sunset is probably the least important and hardest to gather information, but can be entered if available.
thumb
  1. Click Save Page when all desired optional and required data is entered.
